Current Projects

My current research focuses on water-weakening of clinopyroxene in the dislocation creep regime. I am performing high-temperature and high-pressure deformation experiments on natural Sleaford Bay clinopyroxenite under hydrous conditions. Knowledge of the rheological properties of clinoproxene in water saturated conditions is very critical to understand the deformation of lower crust and upper mantle.
